Casting Assistant Pricing

The Casting Assistant is sold on a per-unit basis.

A unit is a single operating version controlled by a hardware key called a ‘dongle.’ The dongle can be plugged into the computer’s parallel printer or USP port. The dongle must be physically attached for many of the casting functions to work. However, the dongle is not required for certain back-office functions.

You can install the Casting Assistant software on as many computers as you like and they will all work in one of the above two modes. This allows you to use the dongle with the casting studio computers while also allowing your office staff to use the software for job and talent administrative tasks.

Each unit (or dongle) is priced at $3,000. We do provide volume discounts on a case by case basis.

The purchase of a unit entitles the user to 12 months of free upgrades & email technical support, as well as 30 days of limited phone support. Phone support is charged at $60/hr beyond the 30 day period free period. Minimum 30 minutes per is call charged.

On-site training is available at $300 per day plus trainer expenses (minimum two days per site).

The Annual Maintenance fee is 30% of the customer’s first unit and 20% per unit there-after per year ($ 600 for the first unit and $ 400 per additional units per year). Customers with annual maintenance agreements are entitled to free upgrades, free phone support, and two days of free on-site training per unit (excluding expenses).
